KRISTY B.

KRISTY B.

Kristy has been an occupational therapist since March of 2017. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. When it was negative 40 degrees in Chicago (three days in a row!) Kristy decided to explore relocation opportunities to pursue her dreams of becoming an occupational therapist (OT). She applied to graduate school out in Arizona where she received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona and decided to stay where the sun is!

I love working with children because they have so much exploring to do. Watching and helping them progress, grow, challenge themselves and discover who they are as a person are just a few of the reasons I love being a pediatric therapist. I also enjoy using a “team approach” as far as collaborating with parents/families/guardians to determine what is best for their child.

I love running! I enjoy distance running (ultra marathons are my favorite). I have two active dogs that keep me young. I enjoy people and love being an occupational therapist.
