Shelley graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with her Bachelor’s of Family Science. She completed the Occupational Therapy program at A.T. Still University and earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in January 2015. She is a mother of 5 living children. Their ages range from 21 to 9. She became a grandma while completing her program and loves watching her granddaughter grow! Shelley became interested in Occupational Therapy after her son was diagnosed with Autism over 9 years ago. He received home-based occupational therapy for several years where she was able to see firsthand the benefits of OT. This motivated her to complete her remaining education and pursue her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist. After being a stay-at-home mom for 18 years, Shelley is now beginning her journey of being a pediatric occupational therapist.
Shelley enjoys jogging, walking, aerobics, biking, shopping with her daughters, home decorating, crafts, and going to yard sales. However, most of all she enjoys spending time with her husband and best friend of 25 years and her children, parents, and granddaughter.
