Occupational Therapist

Allison is an Arizona native. She attended Midwestern University and earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2011. She became interested in Occupational Therapy while working as a 3rd grade teacher where she participated in IEP meetings and watched students benefit from therapy services. She has provided services to children of various ages and diagnoses in both the clinic and home settings. Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys traveling with her family, swimming, hiking, and cooking. .

I grew up here in Arizona. I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from A.T Still University. I have experience in working with children in the schools as well as acute hospital care. I am looking forward to working with children and their families! In my free time I love to travel as well as being outdoors and spending time with my family and friends.

Bridget, OTR/L became interested in Occupational Therapy when her middle son was born 3 ½ months early. She graduated from Midwestern University in 2005 and has worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including public, charter and private schools, pediatric clinics, and in client’s homes.

Bridget has provided occupational therapy services to children ranging from toddler to young adult with a variety of conditions including but not limited to attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, autism spectrum disorders, developmental coordination disorders, fine and gross motor delays, sensory processing disorders, and visual challenges. Bridget specializes in handwriting acquisition and remediation for all age groups.

Carolyn received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University and has been a pediatric occupational therapist since 2015. Carolyn has experience working in the pediatric outpatient and school-based settings. Carolyn loves working to provide individualized therapy sessions based on children’s interests to target goals. Carolyn holds specialty training in sensory processing and feeding therapy. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys camping and taking her puppy to the dog park.


Carolyn is a native of Arizona, graduating from Pima Medical Institute in 2012, receiving her degree in Occupational Science. She became interested in Occupational Therapy while assisting children with special needs for the school district. She continues to enjoy working in the school and clinic settings, with children of various ages and diagnosis. She has extra training in Autism, ADHD, and Handwriting. She has also worked in the rehabilitation setting. Carolyn enjoys being a mother to two married adult daughters and a teenage son. She finds much joy in being a grandma. She enjoys camping and traveling with her hubby of 26 years and the rest of her family.

Casey received her Master's in Occupational Therapy at A.T. Stills University in Mesa, AZ. She earned her undergraduate in Exercise and Wellness at Arizona State University. Casey is a member of the Arizona Occupational Therapy Association. Casey has been fortunate enough to follow her passion of working with neurological patients since 2011. Casey has recently switched career paths, following the birth of her first daughter, to pediatrics, where she has always wanted to be. While attending school, she gained experience and background working as a personal trainer at a local fitness center and interning as a strength and conditioning coach with Maricopa community college athletes. She loves to volunteer for local events such as charity fun run/walks and Day on the Lake, put on by Barrow's Neurological Institute, allowing those with disabilities to participate in adaptive water sports. When she isn't working hard in the clinic, Casey enjoys working out, playing softball, snowboarding or wake boarding and watching sporting events with her husband and family, specially cheering on her beloved team, the Green Bay Packers.


Donny H. has been a practicing occupational therapist for the past 11 years, graduating with a B.S. in occupational therapy from Keuka College (Penn Yan, New York) in 2002, an advanced master in occupational therapy from A.T. Still University (Mesa, Arizona) in the spring of 2008, and in May of 2013, he achieved his doctorate in occupational therapy (Pittsburgh, PA) from Chatham University. He has dedicated his entire career to working in the realm of pediatrics in the school based population, home health, and outpatient clinical settings. His doctoral thesis focused on the implementation of home programs and the effectiveness of their impact on improved functional occupations and satisfaction on family life. In April 2012, Donny was appointed by Governor Jan Brewer to the Arizona State Board of Occupational Therapy, where he will serve a three-year term, and will be eligible for reappointment in January 2015 for another three-year appointment. In Donny’s free time, he enjoys swimming, relaxing in the sun, and spending time with his partner of 7 years, “Dan” Donny has sent his next goal on becoming NDT certified.

Emma was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin. She moved south to attend Midwestern University and received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2016. She completed two pediatric rotations in outpatient and school settings where she was able to work with children of all ages and their families. Emma likes to spend her free time doing yoga, playing cribbage, and enjoying the Arizona weather.


Heather is an Arizona native. She has 2 children and 3 step-children. She loves being a mom and an OT.  Heather has been working as an Occupational Therapist for 14 years.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Grand Canyon University and her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Heather has always worked in pediatrics. She has worked in the school setting, clinic and home health. Heather has a strong background in Sensory Integration.

Hilary found her love for Occupational Therapy while she was a 4th grade special education teacher. As she went through her education, she realized she wanted to help her students become more independent in their daily lives. She then attended Midwestern University where she earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2015. She has worked with children of many ages and diagnoses in the hospital, clinic, and home settings. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and traveling.

Judy has an extensive background as a health care professional with degrees in Nursing, Education and Occupational Therapy and she is currently enrolled in a full-time post-professional Occupational Therapy Doctoral program thru the University of Utah. She is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Utica College Occupational Therapy program Class of 1995 and has criss-crossed the United States while working in various settings and locations until finally settling in Arizona in 2013. Judy considers all things child-related to be her primary area of interest, but has worked in settings across the age continuum. She has extensive experience working with children with developmental delays, physical and mental ‘challenges’, children on the autism spectrum and other areas as well.

Judy’s leisure time activities mainly center around travel, however, with full- time work in a school setting and full-time studies, her travels have been more restricted. A lifelong vegetarian who enjoys cooking, when she isn’t at work, at school, in the kitchen, Judy can be found at a local gym on the treadmill or the recumbent bike or in the pool!

Kerry Taylor received her bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 2000. She has been practicing in the area of pediatric OT for 13 years, with extra training in Sensory Integration. She works in both schools and home based practice. In her free time, Kerry enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and 3 dogs. She also teaches Zumba fitness classes and is a Pilates instructor.

Background/Education: Lindsey received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from A.T. Still University in 2017 and her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Spanish from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She has worked as an OT in both schools and hospitals/rehabilitative settings, and is passionate about working with children and their families. Prior to discovering her love for OT, she had experience in education and in providing community-based family training programs. What you love about working with children: I enjoy watching children discover the world around them. I think they can teach us so much about curiosity, honesty, and imagination. Children help me keep a fresh perspective. Personal Interest/Hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, and exploring the great outdoors with my husband and our two dogs..

Michelle resides in Surprise and has been working in the field of pediatric occupational therapy for 20 years. Her work experience includes home-based and clinic-based settings, a sensory integration clinic, public/private/and residential schools, and two children's hospitals. Michelle is a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) and holds 4 college degrees which include a MAT degree (Master in the Art of Teaching) and a B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy. Michelle is originally from New Jersey and has lived in Arizona for 5 years. Some of her hobbies include antiquing, working on her house, walking her two dogs, and finding new and interesting place for day trips. She enjoys working with children and their families and in making a difference in the lives of others.

My name is Nicoletta. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Early Childhood Family Studies from Arizona State University and spent my time working as a habilitation provider with children diagnosed with autism and developmental delays.  I earned my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2009 and began my career as an Occupational Therapist at Horizon Pediatric Therapy.  In December 2012 I became the OT supervisor at Horizon Pediatric Therapy. I enjoy working with children of all ages and diagnoses and I utilize a holistic, strength based, child and family centered approach to treatment. 

I have training in assessment and treatment of children with sensory processing disorders to include Julia Harper’s Level 1- Modulation, Level-2 Self-Regulation, Level 3- Sensory Discrimination Disorders, Reflex Integration to support education, and Sensory Diet course. I am also trained in utilizing The Engine Run Program and the Ready Body/Learning Minds Program. I incorporate a variety of treatment strategies into my care with children, some of which include Kinesio Taping, Bal-A-Vis X, Pediatric Myofascial Release, Brain Gym, and Handwriting Without Tears. Since 2011 I have also been working part time in a private school for children with behavior/ emotional concerns, and children on the autism spectrum. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hiking, yoga, and traveling. 

Renee Cornejo graduated from Apollo College in 1995 with an Associated Degree in Health Sciences. She is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant and has worked in the pediatric field for 18 years in clinic and home based environments. Renee's specialty is with sensory processing delays in children of all ages and disabilities. She enjoys working with children and getting to know their families to provide a better quality of life. Renee is married and has two amazing sons! She enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with her family and friends making great memories!

Shelley graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with her Bachelor’s of Family Science.  She completed the Occupational Therapy program at A.T. Still University and earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in January 2015.  She is a mother of 5 living children. Their ages range from 21 to 9.  She became a grandma while completing her program and loves watching her granddaughter grow!  Shelley became interested in Occupational Therapy after her son was diagnosed with Autism over 9 years ago.  He received home-based occupational therapy for several years where she was able to see firsthand the benefits of OT. This motivated her to complete her remaining education and pursue her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist. After being a stay-at-home mom for 18 years, Shelley is now beginning her journey of being a pediatric occupational therapist.  

Shelley enjoys jogging, walking, aerobics, biking, shopping with her daughters, home decorating, crafts, and going to yard sales.  However, most of all she enjoys spending time with her husband and best friend of 25 years and her children, parents, and granddaughter.


Suzette is a graduate from Pima Medical Institute’s Occupational Therapy Assistant program and has been working in the field occupational therapy for about 8 years.  She graduated, received her certification, and passed her bar exam all in the fall of 2012.  She works for Mesa Public Schools August through May.

Suzette enjoys working with children ages- preschool through junior high and has had experience with various diagnosis; Autism, Developmentally Delayed, CP, ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome, and Traumatic Brain Injury.

When not working, Suzette enjoys reading inspirational short stories, art projects, playing games and spending time with her family. For the past four years she has been studying America Sign Language (ALS). She has lived in Mesa for 27 years. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they’re the proud parents of two teenage children.

Varsha earned her Master's degree in O.T. from New York University in 1985. She has 30+ experience in working with children of all ages and any kind of diagnosis. She has worked in public schools. in -patient hospital settings, client's home and clinic. She is also a Brain Gym instructor and has conducted various workshop in AZ and in India. She has been successful in setting up a clinic in rural India and frequently travels to India to train therapists, families and teachers. She conducts Brain Gym workshop at corporate level for stress reduction and improving production. She loves what she does. In her spare time she loves to travel all over the world.
